Meet Dr.Jenkins:
Dr.Jonathan Jenkins has practiced periodontics for over twenty-five years. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota school of dentistry. Jon completed graduate training in periodontology at the University of Iowa school of dentistry. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and an adjunct associate professor, University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, Graduate Periodontology as well as a member of numerous professional societies. Dr.Jenkins is experienced in all phases of implant dentistry. In his spare time, Dr.Jenkins enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting and spending time in the fields with his dog, Norm.

Mary is your hygienist. She has been a hygienist for more than 25 years and has worked with Dr.Jenkins for more than 20 years. Mary received her undergraduate degree at the University of South Dakota. She continued her studies at the University of Kansas, receiving her masters in hygiene education. Mary then taught periodontal hygiene for 2 years in Nebraska before moving on to private practice. In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband Bill and their two dogs, Brillo & Q-tip. Mary is also fond of running, swimming and biking. Her favorite time of year is Spring.

Heidi is our dental assistant who consistently provides all our patients with top notch care. Heidi received her dental assisting license in 1998 from the MN School of Business and joined our practice in 2018 with 20 years of periodontal assisting experience. Her warm and welcoming demeanor is always a comfort to nervous patients. Heidi genuinely looks forward to each day and enjoys working with patients to guide and encourage them to reach their dental goals. Outside of assisting, Heidi enjoys crafts, hunting and spending weekends at the cabin with her husband Bob, daughter Haley and 3 dogs.

Lea is our office manager and assists our team and patients with scheduling, insurance, treatment questions and everything in between. Lea graduated from Herzing College in 2008 with a dental assisting license. After assisting for several years, and taking time to raise her daughters, she made the transition to front office and joined our practice in 2018. She has lived in Minnesota most of her life, although she dreams about someday moving to a warmer climate. Out of the office, Lea enjoys time with her husband John and their daughters Addison and Harper, DIY projects, photography and weekends at the cabin in Brainerd.
